LS-WIM

LS-WIM

Intercomp Low-Speed Weigh-In-Motion (LS-WIM®) scale technology uses integrated shear beam load cells which are certified for accuracy and performance by US and European government metrology authorities. Low-Speed Weigh-In-Motion provides greater precision for applications which include checkweighing and monitoring compliance, issuing citations, or charging by weight. Installation and maintenance is less expensive than standard truck scales.

Fully Integrated RFX® Wireless Weighing Technology

Intercomp’s LS630-WIM™ (Weigh-In-Motion) portable scales provide an effective way to track vehicle axle weights in remote locations. This scale system allows for efficient vehicle weighing under a variety of conditions that will decrease expenses for any transport-related business through weight compliance, inventory tracking and ensuring proper vehicle loading. Included in the system is a pair of RFX® Wireless scale pads, four roll-up ramps and a wireless indicator, or PC, that fit into the trunk of a vehicle and can be deployed by one or two people in less than 15 minutes.

SWIM Slow-Speed In-Motion Truck Scales

SWIM Slow-Speed In-Motion Truck Scales

Cardinal Scale’s SWIM slow-speed in-motion vehicle scale offers the ideal combination of accuracy, space, speed, and economical price point for weighing fully-loaded semi tractor trailers. Weigh-in-motion vehicle scales offer a cost-effective means of measuring truck axle and gross weights without affecting the flow of traffic. SWIM scales occupy only a small fraction of the space needed for a full-length static truck scale and they are ideal for ports, freight terminals, and commercial fleet axle weight monitoring compliance. The SWIM in-motion scale uses a single 12 ft by 30 inch weighbridge constructed of ½-inch thick steel and is supported by four Cardinal SCA stainless steel compression load cells.

WIM Strip Sensors

WIM Strip Sensors

Intercomp’s strain gauge based Strip Sensors are a unique alternative to traditional static truck scales, or low-speed axle scales where vehicle speeds and sites do not allow large civil works.  Strip Sensors allow for higher throughput for high-traffic applications, including Freight Terminals, Commercial Fleet facilities, distribution hubs, and other facilities with space limitations. Installed within channels less than 3" (75 mm) in the pavement, Strip Sensors provide lower cost when compared to alternative scale systems due to minimal installation and maintenance requirements.
